Training in Scotland is a joint collaboration between Money Advice Scotland, Citizens Advice Scotland and Advice UK, through participation in the Scottish wiseradviser Operational Team.

Training is available at three skill levels laid down by the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers: 1 – Active information, signposting and explanation, 2 – Casework, and 3 – Advocacy, representation and mediation at tribunal or court action level. A three tier evaluation system is used to ensure that training enhances advice provision and supports you in your work as a money adviser.
